Description
As a SAP RISE Infrastructure Operations Engineer/Architect at Zoetis India Capability Center (ZICC) in Hyderabad, you will be an integral part of the Global Infrastructure/Cloud & Platform Services organization, playing a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing the Global Infrastructure operations for SAP RISE. Your responsibilities will include: - **Infrastructure Design and Architecture** - Assist in designing and implementing robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure solutions for SAP RISE environments. - Collaborate with SAP Basis, cloud, and network teams to define infrastructure requirements and architecture standards. - Develop and optimize infrastructure blueprints for SAP RISE customers, ensuring alignment with best practices and compliance standards. - **Operations and Maintenance** - Provide monitoring solutions to maintain the health, performance, and availability of SAP RISE infrastructure. - Review operation reports, including incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for infrastructure-related issues with MSP operations team. - **Cloud Integration and Management** - Ensure proper cloud integration with Zoetis Global Infrastructure. - Optimize cloud resource utilization for Air-Gap tenant and 3rd party hosted applications to achieve cost efficiency without compromising performance. - Manage hybrid cloud setups, ensuring seamless integration between on-premises and cloud environments. - **Security and Compliance** - Ensure the infrastructure adheres to Zoetis security and compliance standards. - Assist in security audits and implement proactive measures to mitigate risks. - **Collaboration and Stakeholder Management** - Act as a Global Infrastructure technical advisor for SAP RISE teams, providing guidance on infrastructure best practices and operational strategies. - Collaborate with SAP's internal teams (e.g., SAP Team, DevOps, and engineering) to deliver end-to-end solutions. **Education and Experience:** - Education: Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., Azure Administrator, AWS Solutions Architect) and an undergraduate degree is a plus. - Experience: Expertise in incident management, root cause analysis, performance tuning for SAP environments, ITIL & Agile processes, backup and disaster recovery strategies for SAP systems, problem-solving skills, communication skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. **Technical Skills Requirements:** - Strong knowledge of SAP RISE system infrastructure requirements. - Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker) and their integration with SAP. - Hands-on experience with hyperscaler platforms (Azure & AWS) and their services (e.g., EC2, VMs, networking, storage). - Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) and automation frameworks. - Understanding of networking, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancing in cloud and hybrid environments. - Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Zenoss, Dynatrace, Prometheus).
