We’re Hiring: Erection & Launching Engineer – Steel Bridge Girders

• Plan, execute, and supervise the

  erection and launching of steel bridge girders

  at project sites.
• Coordinate lifting, alignment, and placement activities using cranes, launching girders, winches, and related equipment.
• Prepare and review

  erection and launching methodologies

  , including sequencing, safety plans, and risk assessments.
• Ensure strict compliance with

  RDSO, Indian Railways, and relevant IS codes

  , along with site safety standards.
• Coordinate with fabrication, logistics, QA/QC, and safety teams to ensure smooth site execution.
• Monitor daily site progress, resolve technical challenges, and ensure adherence to project timelines.
• Supervise subcontractors, rigging teams, and skilled manpower on site.
• Maintain site documentation including daily progress reports, inspection records, and method statements.

• Liason with zonal railway and local authority

  before/during/after executing project for necessary approvals.

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum

  5–10 years of experience

  in erection and launching of

  steel bridge girders

  , preferably on

  railway bridge projects

  .
• Strong working knowledge of

  girder launching methods

  such as crane erection, incremental launching, rolling, and sliding techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret

  GA drawings, erection drawings, and fabrication drawings

  .
• Prior experience working on

  Indian Railways / RDSO projects

  is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction safety practices and risk mitigation.
• Willingness to work at project sites across Gujarat.
