Equity Dealer

An Equity Dealer is responsible for managing client accounts, executing trades, and providing investment advice to help clients achieve their financial goals. Key duties include acquiring new clients, assessing their risk appetite, providing market updates and recommendations, and ensuring accurate and timely trade execution. The role also requires a deep understanding of the market, strong communication skills, and the ability to build client relationships.

Core responsibilities

• Client relationship management:

  Actively managing client portfolios, conducting client meetings, and providing regular updates on market changes and portfolio performance.

• New client acquisition:

  Expanding the client base by identifying potential customers and pitching investment options.

• Investment advice:

  Assessing client needs and risk appetite to provide suitable investment recommendations and strategies.

• Trading execution:

  Accurately and efficiently executing buy and sell orders for equities and other financial instruments based on client instructions.

• Market analysis:

  Staying up-to-date on market news, financial trends, and economic events to provide timely and informed advice.

• Record keeping:

  Maintaining accurate records of all client interactions, transactions, and necessary compliance documentation.

• Performance reporting:

  Generating reports for both management and clients to summarize portfolio performance.
