Job Description

Role Overview: As an Equipment Maintenance Technician at Varex Imaging, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and safety of operations and equipment. Your role will involve performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks, including troubleshooting and fixing electrical, electronics, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems. You will assist in the setup, installation, and preventive maintenance of systems, as well as conduct manual repairs when necessary, such as wiring, crimping, and soldering. Additionally, you will be involved in budget preparation, calibration tracking, and maintaining spare part lists. Key Responsibilities: - Troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronics, vacuum, heat treatment, high voltage, welding, and gas line equipment - Set up and install new systems and equipment - Perform preventive maintenance and inspections - Assist in budget preparation and adherence - Maintain calibration tracker and perform calibration activities - Prepare and update spare part lists for equipment - Follow quality standards for preventive maintenance, breakdowns, MTBF, MTTR, etc. - Provide suggestions and best practices for layouts according to industry standards Qualifications Required: - Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role - Basic understanding of electrical, electronics, vacuum, heat treatment, high voltage applications, measuring instruments, and calibrations - Knowledge of general maintenance processes, tools, appliances, and devices - Problem-solving skills - Good physical condition with a willingness to work overtime Additional Details: - Strong teaming skills - Basic understanding of material logistics and business systems - Familiarity with tools such as E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP or equivalent ERP software - High School Degree or equivalent education - Ability to travel as required Note: The salary information is not provided in the job description.,
