EHS Officer (Environment, Health & Safety) We are seeking a proactive and knowledgeable EHS Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring full compliance with all applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations. The role involves policy development, risk assessment, training, incident management, and continuous improvement of our EHS management systems. Role & responsibilities EHS Compliance: Monitor and ensure compliance with all local, state, and central government EHS regulations. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to maintain high safety standards. Policy and Procedure Development: Draft, implement, and regularly update EHS policies and procedures. Educate employees on compliance requirements and safe work practices. Risk Assessment & Hazard Identification: Perform detailed risk assessments, identify potential hazards, and develop effective mitigation and control strategies. Incident Management: Investigate workplace incidents, analyze root causes, document findings, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Training & Employee Awareness: Develop and deliver EHS training programs, including safety inductions for new employees and refresher courses for existing staff. Emergency Preparedness: Create and maintain site-specific emergency response plans , and conduct regular mock drills to ensure readiness. EHS Monitoring & Reporting: Track and report key safety metrics and performance indicators (KPIs). Prepare detailed reports for internal management and external regulatory bodies as required. Continuous Improvement: Regularly review and upgrade EHS systems and practices to ensure alignment with industry best practices and organizational goals. Preferred candidate profile Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant EHS experience , preferably in facility management , manufacturing , or industrial sectors . (Freshers with ADIS certification are also welcome to apply.) Education: Bachelors Degree in Occupational Health & Safety , Environmental Science , or a related field. ADIS (Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety) or equivalent is mandatory . BE in Electrical / Mechanical with ADIS qualification will be preferred. Work Environment: Should be flexible to work in remote locations and adapt to site-specific working conditions.
