Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Extensive knowledge of health Safety regulations and policies.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficient in technology and equipment used in environmental inspections.
In-depth working knowledge of PC applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Adobe, Visio) required.

Inspects the facility to identify safety, health, and environmental risks.
Lead site Safety.
Develops and implements inspection policies and procedures, and a schedule of routine inspections.
Develops health and safety procedures for all areas of the company.
HSE training matrix and training plan.
Lead an internal audit at all the Sites.
Monitors compliance with safety procedures.
Ensures that material safety data sheets are maintained and readily accessible when needed.
Manage site programs, policies, procedures & legal compliances related to HSE
Emergency Action Plan (EAP) often a portion of BCP in CS sites
Injury and Illness prevention program (work-related)
Will responsible for managing the Wok Permit System, Chemical Management, Waste Management, Electrical Safety, PPE Program, Ergonomics, Incidents reports & Investigation.
Coordinate daily/weekly/monthly inspections and corrective actions
External certifications, if any (ISO 45001, SA 8000, ISO 14001 etc.)
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Preferred candidate profile

Education and Experience

Bachelor s degree in Engineering or Science or related field required, Masters degree desirable.
LA in ISO 14001, ISO 45001 or Diploma in Industrial Safety.
Minimum prior applicable experience is 4-5 years.
