Job Description

Role & responsibilities:

Implement and monitor EHS systems, policies, and statutory compliance.
Conduct safety inspections, audits, and committee meetings.
Organize and deliver safety, fire, and environmental training programs.
Ensure availability, usage, and maintenance of PPE and safety equipment.
Monitor ETP operations, waste management, and environmental records.
Investigate incidents/near misses and implement preventive actions.
Develop and maintain emergency response procedures.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree / Diploma in Engineering, Environmental Science, Industrial Safety, or equivalent.
Certification in Industrial Safety / NEBOSH / Diploma in EHS / Fire & Safety (preferred).
Knowledge of EHS statutory requirements and compliance.

Strong understanding of EHS management systems and statutory laws.
Good knowledge of safety audits, inspections, and accident investigation.
Hands-on experience in ETP operation, waste management, and pollution control.
Excellent communication and training delivery skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation abilities.
Ability to coordinate with multiple departments and contractors.
