Job Description: The English Cum French teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in English & French language arts to middle school students (grades 6-8 or 6-10), fostering a positive and engaging learning environment, and supporting students' overall development. Key Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities: Teaching & Classroom Management Plan, prepare and deliver engaging English and French language lessons as per curriculum guidelines. Design lesson plans that cater to students’ varying abilities. Use a variety of teaching methods including storytelling, language games, role-plays, and digital tools. Assess and monitor student progress regularly. 2. Language Development Focus on grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills in both languages. Promote bilingual communication and appreciation of French and English cultures. 3. Student Support Encourage active participation and support individual learning needs. * Prepare students for language exams (if applicable, like DELF or CBSE language exams). * 4. Administrative Tasks Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance. Prepare report cards and participate in parent-teacher meetings. 5. Collaboration & Development Coordinate with colleagues for cross-curricular activities. Attend training programs and school events. Qualifications & Skills Required: Bachelor’s Degree in English / French / Literature / Education (B.Ed preferred). Certification in French (DELF A1/A2/B1 or equivalent). Prior teaching experience in both subjects (1–3 years preferred). Fluency in English and French (spoken and written). Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills. Creative, enthusiastic, and adaptable teaching style. Preferred: Familiarity with CBSE/ICSE/IB curriculum. Experience in organizing language events like debates, language fairs, or MUN.
