Engineering Product Owner

As an Engineering Product Owner at Socommerz, you will play a crucial role in leading innovative software application development in the retail and commerce domains. Your responsibilities will include defining product strategy, managing engineering teams, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-centric solutions. You will also be responsible for optimizing roadmaps, ensuring technical feasibility, and guiding product go-to-market strategies. Key Responsibilities: - Define product strategy aligned with retail and commerce business priorities. - Lead and manage engineering teams using agile methodologies. - Drive design and delivery of agentic workflows and LLM-powered features. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to realize product goals. - Document features, user stories, and product requirements. - Perform competitive analysis and optimize roadmap for customer-centric outcomes. - Ensure technical feasibility and scalable architectures for solutions. - Guide product go-to-market strategies, monitor performance, and report KPIs. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred. - 5+ years of experience in software product ownership or technical product management. - Expertise with LLMs and agentic workflow design. - Hands-on experience with modern software development and Agile/Scrum methodologies. - Management and mentoring experience in retail or commerce verticals. - Understanding of software architecture, APIs, and technical documentation. - Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. - Proficiency in backlog management tools (JIRA, Trello) and user story mapping. - Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and outcome orientation.,
