Location: Gurgaon, Sector 32 Job Type: Full-Time Role: Engineering Manager About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Team Leader for Engineering Manager role to lead our software engineering team and drive the development of scalable, high-performance systems. As a key leader in our startup, you will be responsible for managing cross-functional teams, ensuring technical excellence, and aligning engineering efforts with business goals. Responsibilities: Led, mentored, and grew a team of software engineers working on backend and cloud infrastructure. Drive architectural decisions, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability of systems. Oversee end-to-end development using Node.js, Go, MySQL, MongoDB, AWS, and GCP. Implement best practices in software development, CI/CD, DevOps, and cloud infrastructure. Collaborate with product, design, and business teams to align technical solutions with company objectives. Improve engineering processes, optimize system performance, and manage technical debt. Recruit, onboard, and develop high-performing engineers. Requirements: 7+ years of experience in software engineering as a Team Leader, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Strong experience in backend development using Node.js and Go. Expertise in database management (MySQL, MongoDB) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP). Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, and distributed systems. Proven track record of leading teams, delivering complex projects, and scaling engineering operations. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make data-driven technical decisions.
