Engineering Manager

As an Engineering Manager for the JSCAPE Managed File Transfer platform, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and accelerating the development and support of our flagship software product. Your responsibilities will include: - Managing and leading multiple agile teams to drive innovation and deliver mission-critical software products that meet business objectives and customer needs. - Conducting regular performance reviews, setting individual and team goals, and supporting professional development. - Encouraging best practices in software development such as code reviews, testing, and documentation. - Planning, executing, and delivering software projects on time and within budget. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and scope. - Providing technical guidance and support to the engineering team. - Driving continuous improvement in software development processes and tools. - Participating in the design, development, and review of software architecture and code. - Ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software solutions. - Promoting the adoption of agile methodologies and practices within the team. - Facilitating effective communication within the engineering team and with other departments. - Managing resource allocation, workload distribution, and overseeing the hiring and onboarding of new team members. Your qualifications should include: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). - Minimum 3 years of experience in software engineering with leadership or management responsibilities. - Proven track record of successfully delivering software projects. - Experience with agile methodologies, SDLC, and strong proficiency in Java & C#/.NET. - Strong understanding of software architecture, design principles, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). - Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, microservices architecture, and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Your experience and skills in software engineering, leadership, and technical proficiency will be instrumental in driving innovation and ensuring the successful delivery of our software products.,
