Engineering Center Manager

As an Engineering Manager at Nucor Towers & Structures (NTS), you will play a crucial role in leading a team of engineers and driving sustainable, profitable results for the division. Your responsibilities will include the following: - Lead the divisions detailing and engineering efforts in alignment with Nucor and NTS expectations. - Recruit, select, and develop the right team with a balance of technical, business, and leadership skills. - Develop and manage the systems and processes necessary for effective execution of near and long-term division strategies. - Provide guidance and expertise in relevant engineering codes and standards. - Support division efforts in innovation through collaborative problem solving and technical support. - Provide leadership in division and group projects that target and produce the highest returns for Nucor. - Must have the ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed. **Qualification Required:** - Able to communicate in English - Registered Chartered or Professional Engineer - Minimum of 5 years relevant leadership experience in an engineering department. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Experience with the design of tubular steel transmission and distribution structures - Familiarity with ASCE 48, PLS POLE, Autodesk Inventor - Public speaking experience You will be joining a team that values safety, positivity, and innovation.
