Engineer - Trade Compliance

Your role will be to support the Distribution centres/Product companies/Customer centres with high-quality services in Customs classification. You will contribute to executing Requests received for HS code classification & screening of DU codes as per WTO guidelines. Analyzing technical details of parts/products of Atlas Copco parts, providing correct HS code, and screening for Dual-Use regulations will be your key responsibilities. You will also be responsible for daily reporting to service centers in Belgium, USA & India, communicating with global customers, resolving technical queries, and mentoring fellow colleagues. To succeed in this role, you will need to have a clear understanding of mechanical & electrical engineering basics, ability to read engineering drawings, proficiency in verbal & written communication in English, good knowledge of MS Office, attention to details, decision-making skills, and working with large data sets. Experience in internet research, knowledge of BPCS/ERP/SAP, and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 2-6 years of experience are required qualifications.
