Engineer Tools - Plant 16

As a Tooling Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying and troubleshooting tooling problems on the production floor. You will develop and implement tooling improvements to enhance efficiency and quality. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will participate in the design and construction of new tools and fixtures. Additionally, you will provide technical support and training to production personnel, ensuring they are equipped to operate effectively. Your role will also involve performing routine maintenance and repairs on tools and equipment. Collaborating with engineering and production departments, you will contribute to the development and execution of continuous improvement projects. It will be crucial to uphold safety and quality standards throughout all activities. In this position, you will be expected to analyze tool breakage and make informed decisions for enhancement. Furthermore, familiarity with SAP operations will be advantageous. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. With at least 3 years of experience in manufacturing or tooling engineering, you should possess strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools is essential.
