Job Description

Role: Engineer / Senior Engineer - Customer Quality / In Process Quality

Location: Chennai Manufacturing Plant , near Poonamallee

Candidates from Automotive OEMs / Tier 1 Auto Components Assembly industry is only required.

Candidate should be in the current role for a minimum of 2 years, otherwise the application will get screen rejected.

Experience Levels:

5-8 years for Engineer Level Budget 8 Lakhs

8-10 Years for Senior Engineer Level Budget 8-12 Lakhs

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for doing analysis and submitting the 8D /PDCA report on time to all customers
Responsible for updating 8D Tracking / Past Trouble Database / Lesson tracking etc.
Responsible for leading the customer audit (Product / Process) and observation closure on time with the customer.
Monitor the Quality KPI related to COPQ
Knowledge in Trouble shooting of defective products.

Candidate Background:

Full Time Graduate in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering with 5 -12 years relevant experience in Automotive OEMs or Tier 1 Industries
Must have handled minimum of 2 customers at a time.
Knowledge of Customer Portal
Excellent Knowledge of 8D methodology,
Knowledge of In process quality and handing customer complaint Knowledge of ISO / IATF 16949:2009 and OHSAS
Should have worked in Auto Assy. Units
Working Knowledge in PPAP, DOE, SPC, 7QC Tools.
