Role & responsibilities Lead and manage all SAP modules ensuring smooth business operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions. Oversee SAP configurations, enhancements, upgrades, and custom developments. Act as the primary contact for SAP-related issues, change management, and system improvements. Conduct regular system audits, ensure compliance, and maintain data integrity. Manage SAP security, authorizations, and roles. Coordinate with external vendors and consultants for support or new projects. Train and support end-users to improve SAP usage and efficiency. Drive SAP integrations with third-party applications and automation tools. Analyze business processes and recommend best practices using SAP capabilities. Preferred candidate profile Strong expertise in SAP ECC or S/4HANA (all major modules: MM, SD, PP, FI/CO, HR, WM, QM, PM). Proven experience in SAP full-cycle implementation and support. Understanding of ABAP debugging and basic development for issue tracking. Excellent problem-solving, project management, and communication skills. Strong business acumen and process-oriented mindset. Role & responsibilities This role is responsible heading the central sourcing across various SBU including Freight, Metro , Propulsion etc. The candidate would have various SBU sourcing heads report into him/her and be responsible for developing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, setting up and improving procurement processes (including setting up 100% e-procurement systems) Key Responsibilities: 1) Implement a robust e-procurement system with full transparency and efficiency. 2) Lead the team of various SBU procurement heads to ensure timely and cost effective procurement. 3) Vendor management to ensure high quality and reliable vendor base 4) Setup and monitor an efficient and effective Contract management system for all purchase contracts Qualifications & Experience: Preferred candidate profile A recently super annuated person of the rank of a joint secretary /additional secretary who has strong experience in tendering and procurement activities, particularly in the field of Railway or Metro systems. Candidates must be fully conversant with electronic procurement systems such as IREPS or GEM and be able to setup and manage a robust central procurement organisation to manage a total procurement of around INR 4000-5000 crores per annum. Candidate must be hands on and lead the team of around 25 people from the front and be able to manage the entire department independently in coordination with the respective SBU heads and CEOs of the various business. Candidate must be fully conversant of contract management including import contracts. The role will be a full time position based out of Kolkata offering suitable remuneration package to the right candidate. Immediate joining would be preferred.
