Engineer/ Sr. Engineer Installation and Commissioning (ID 868)

Job Purpose:

The Manager of Installation & Commissioning for Mobile Robots will oversee the deployment, installation, and commissioning of mobile robotic systems. This role ensures that all systems are implemented effectively and operate efficiently within client environments. The manager will lead a team of engineers and technicians, manage project timelines, and liaise with clients to meet their specific requirements.

• Plan, schedule, and oversee the installation and commissioning of mobile robots.
• Coordinate with clients to understand project requirements and timelines.
• Customer Handling, Customer delight.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the installation and commissioning phase.
• Provide regular updates to clients on project status and address any concerns promptly.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure client satisfaction with the installation process.
• Ensure projects are completed within the stipulated budget and time frame.
• Initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and successfully closure of I&C (UAT).
• Pending payment collection
• Lead and manage a team of installation and commissioning engineers and technicians.
• Provide training and support to team members to ensure high performance.
• Supervise the installation of mobile robots, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Oversee the commissioning process, including testing, troubleshooting, and optimization of systems.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to resolve any technical issues that arise during installation and commissioning.
• Maintain comprehensive records of installation and commissioning activities.
• Prepare and submit detailed reports on project progress, technical issues, and resolutions.
• Develop and update standard operating procedures for installation and commissioning processes.

Profile: Ideally ~

• M.Tech/ B.Tech in robotics, controls, mechatronics etc.
• 8+ years of experience in the installation and commissioning of automated or robotic systems, with at least 4+ years in a managerial role. Experience in customer handling & project execution.
• Candidate should have US Visa
