Engineer Specialist, Plant Engineering for Pulp, Energy & Circularity Business Area (based in Chennai, India)

We are looking for “Engineer Specialist, Plant Engineering” to be based in Chennai, India. This position reports to “Manager, Engineering, India”. In this position you will have an opportunity to carry out all engineering activities associated with Plant Engineering for all kinds of projects and carry out Plant design modeling wherever required and to play a lead engineer role if nominated in coordinating, directing and carrying out all activities of engineering.

In this position, you will be required to,

• Develop and carryout engineering for plant Engineering and associated engineering calculations related to Evaporator body, Tanks and Vessels.
• To carryout basic modeling of Boiler & evaporator area consisting of various Equipment’s, platform, structures and other items considering various aspects such as operation, maintenance etc.
• Access requirements, load data for structures, general arrangement drawings etc.
• To interface with COMOS, M File etc. To coordinate with all agencies for receipt of inputs and maintain schedule.
• To provide deliverables meeting the quality requirements. Managing and development of the reporting engineers/Designers.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Mechanical Engineering Graduate with 10-15 years of Experience
• Minimum 5 years of exp. in detailing of Tanks and Vessels using software like AutoCAD,

SolidWorks, etc.,

• Exposure to ASME and EN codes. Exposure on software COMOS, M files, AutoCAD, E3D, Navis, PV Elite etc.
• Good communication skills in English.
