Job Description

As an integral part of OMRON Corporation, you will be responsible for preparing and executing aggressive sales plans to achieve the sales targets set by the management in the assigned region. Your role will involve implementing and monitoring monthly, quarterly, and annual sales plans and strategies in alignment with the business sales forecast. Managing the targets assigned by the management will be crucial, along with fostering and monitoring sales revenues by providing Omron one-step solutions to OEMs and direct customers in the Automotive segments. Creating detailed account plans for key accounts and effectively managing the execution of these plans will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will be tasked with identifying potential customers in OEMs and End User segments, as well as maintaining relationships with existing customers in the assigned region. Intra-department coordination within the organization will be essential to deliver the best services and solutions as committed to customers. Your role will also involve developing action plans to enhance sales in the assigned region and cultivating and maintaining healthy relationships with System Integrators and Channel Partners. Collaborating with horizontal functions to identify new application solutions for sales growth and executing plans through the required application and sales teams will be part of your responsibilities. Promptly responding to sales requests for customer engagement needs will also be a crucial aspect of your role. The position is based in Gurgaon and requires candidates to have a B.E. or equivalent diploma, with an MBA in any stream being desirable. A minimum of 1-4 years of experience in sales portfolio in the Industrial Automation Industry, handling OEM and End-user customers in the Automotive segment is necessary. Proficiency in Industrial Automation products such as Machine Vision, Safety, Sensors, HMI, and Components is essential, along with a good working knowledge of MS Office, Excel, and Salesforce. In terms of behavioral competencies, the ideal candidate should possess a sense of urgency, be target-oriented, and be willing to dedicate extra hours if needed on assignments. Strong communication and presentation skills with keen attention to details are important, along with the ability to handle product demos and technical queries for customers.
