Job Description

Role Overview: KONE India, a part of the global leader in the elevator and escalator industry, is looking for a Salesperson who will be responsible for proactively managing customer relationships, handling opportunities from existing and new customers, and closing deals to meet customer needs and enhance KONE's order book and profitability. You will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining customer relationships in your designated area, identifying sales opportunities, ensuring customer satisfaction, and contributing to the overall sales team's success. Key Responsibilities: - Proactively develop and nurture customer relationships within your area of responsibility - Enhance KONE's position within your customer base or market area - Identify and communicate leads and sales opportunities for the entire KONE sales team, including cross-selling opportunities - Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing and resolving complaints in collaboration with the KONE team - Maintain customer and contact information accurately, documenting customer data - Generate new opportunities beyond the current customer base and handle Requests for Quotations (RFQs) - Meet sales budget and pricing targets by securing leads, opportunities, orders, and contracts - Identify customer needs and align KONE's solutions accordingly - Utilize approved tendering tools for pricing and optimize prices and discounts within your authority - Validate contract contents align with negotiation outcomes - Manage sales funnel effectively by maintaining comprehensive information on opportunities, tasks, and visits - Ensure timely and accurate reporting in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system - Gather market and competitor information from the field to support strategic decision-making - Assist in money collection activities and drive the execution of your individual sales plan Qualifications Required: - Total Experience: 8 - 13 years - Qualification: Bachelors in Engineering Skills Required: - Proficiency in selling cycle, pricing, and purchasing strategies - Sales funnel management expertise - Business planning skills - Market and competitor awareness - Analytical proficiency in MIS reports Additional Company Details (if applicable): At KONE, employees can expect career progression opportunities within a global organization, total reward elements that engage and motivate, and comprehensive learning and development programs to enhance professional skills.
