Engineer

As a Senior Engineer - Mechanical Design at Epiroc India, you will be responsible for leading Mechanical System design and development to ensure product performance, reliability, quality, and cost objectives are met. Your role will involve designing and developing structures for Drill rigs, overseeing the entire mechanical design process from concept generation to prototype testing and production implementation. - Design and develop mechanical systems and component integration - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions - Perform feasibility studies and technical assessments - Define specifications and conduct design reviews - Maintain design guidelines and standards for subsystem structural design To excel in this role, you should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in structural design and development with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical engineering. Strong understanding of GD&T, Team Centre, sheet metal design, and welding techniques is required. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., CREO) and experience with PLM engineering tools (e.g., Teamcenter) is essential. You should also possess excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication and collaboration abilities.
