Job Description

Role & responsibilities:

Perform Day-to-day design activities in coordination with team lead and team members.
Should be able to perform Electrical power distribution & Power System studies.
Component selection, power loss calculation, power distribution design meeting the design considerations given.
Working with M-CAD team in cable harness preparation and designing cable layouts.
Preparation of load lists and maintaining the documentation.
Capturing the test results and documenting the design and test outcomes.
Should be aware of Electrical CAD.
Should be aware of selection criteria of switchgear components.
Preparing single line diagrams based on the project requirements.
Provides ongoing training and education to the team to ensure its ability to execute on the Company and team goals and objectives.
Builds a strong development team by ensuring effective coaching and counseling employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.

Preferred candidate profile:

B.E/M.E Electrical with 2+ years of experiences in Electrical design.
Experiences in cable Sizing and Preparation of Cable Schedules / Cable routing and Cable support validation.
Expertise in ETAP and CAD
Should be conversant with UL / IEEE / IEC and IS Standards.
