About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Energy Analyst to support the utility scale integration of wind and solar generation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in wind and solar data analytics, micro-siting, renewable forecasting, and performance optimization. This role is critical in enabling reliable, efficient, and data-driven integration of variable renewable energy sources into the power grid or hybrid generation systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze large datasets from wind turbines and solar PV installations (met-mast data, meteorological, irradiance, etc.)
• Develop performance models, loss analyses, and energy yield assessments for wind and solar assets
• Conduct resource assessment and site evaluation using long-term wind and solar data
• Work with forecasting models to predict short-term and long-term generation profiles
• Support grid integration studies and hybrid system optimization (e.g., wind-solar-battery)
• Monitor asset performance and identify underperformance or anomalies
• Develop dashboards, tools, and visualizations for internal and external stakeholders
• Collaborate with project development, engineering, and operations teams to optimize plant design and operation
• Stay current on modelling tools, satellite datasets, and renewable energy forecasting techniques

Qualification – Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 5+ years of experience in wind and/or Solar energy analysis

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 5+ years of experience in

  wind and/or solar energy analysis

• Familiarity with wind and solar modelling tools (e.g., WindPRO, WAsP, PVSyst, SAM)
• Experience working with met-mast data, solar irradiance data, SCADA data and time-series analysis

Preferred:

• Master’s degree or certification in energy analytics or power systems
• Knowledge of grid interconnection processes and renewable energy regulations
• Proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., Python, R, MATLAB, Excel, Power BI)
• Experience with machine learning techniques for energy forecasting
• Familiarity with GIS tools for resource mapping and site assessment
