Role & responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement energy-saving strategies across all facilities. Conduct energy audits and analyze utility data to identify inefficiencies. Monitor energy consumption and identify trends and anomalies. Lead energy conservation programs, including HVAC optimization, lighting upgrades, and renewable energy integration. Collaborate with facility managers, engineers, and sustainability teams to design and deploy energy initiatives. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal energy regulations. Evaluate and recommend energy procurement strategies (e.g., green energy, peak shaving). Prepare and present reports on energy performance metrics and savings. Manage energy budgets and forecast future energy needs. Research and evaluate new technologies and best practices in energy management. Preferred candidate profile Bachelors degree in Engineering, Energy Management, Environmental Science, or related field. 10 to 15 years of experience in energy management or a related role. Strong knowledge of building systems, energy modeling, and utility rate structures. Familiarity with energy auditing tools and Building Management Systems (BMS).
