Job Description: This position is part of Wipro GmbH and you will report to the Disciplinary Manager, Christine D. As an Employee Relations Specialist at Wipro Europe, your role will involve managing the working relationship with the works councils in Germany and the European Workers council. Role Overview: As an Employee Relations Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include: - Partnering with HR Business Partners, Legal, and other internal teams to ensure compliance with local laws, company policies, and procedures. - Developing and implementing employee relations processes, programs, and policies to promote a positive work culture. - Evaluating and leading opportunities for policy harmonization and changes where necessary. - Monitoring and analyzing employee relations trends and metrics to suggest solutions for organizational improvement. - Preparing collective agreements, negotiating with unions and work councils, and contributing to European Works Council meetings. - Leading people transition activities under ARD regulations in case of people transfers and managing these projects. - Providing expert advice on various HR matters such as discipline, grievance, capability, and performance management to ensure compliance with local laws and company policies. - Contributing to translating business plans into HR strategic plans and staying updated on best practices in employee relations and HR. Qualifications Required: To be successful in this role, you should have: - Comprehensive practical experience in all aspects of Employee Relations. - 10+ years of experience, preferably in international organizations. - Strong knowledge of European employment laws and regulations. - Experience in managing relationships with Work Councils, including drafting, negotiating, and signing works agreements, with a focus on German employment law. - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills to build trust with stakeholders. - Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail. - High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality. - Ability to work in a diverse and multi-cultural organization. - Fluency in English and German.
