Skill : EMC Storage Admin ( Openings)

Location : Bangalore or Chennai

Level : SA (SA level 6 + Relevant experience & L2 Support is Mandatory)

Notice Period : (Immediate joiner Preferrable)

Shift : 24 / 7 Rotational shift (Night Shift)

Skills Required

• Graudation with full time Educational qualification required for this position

5+ Years experience in the field of Cloud Storage and EMC Storage technologies Primary Skill -

( EMC - VMAX /POWERMAX , EMC VPLEX )

Below are the Technical skills required for this position

• 
  
  
  
  • Minimum 4 to 5 years of experience with experties in the administration of following storage .
    
    
    
    • Primary Skill -- EMC - VMAX /POWERMAX, CISCO MDS Switches & VPLEX
    
    
    • Secondary Skill - EMC Isilon or NetApp Filers ,EMC unity (Hybrid) & Scripting Knowledge

  • Good knowledge on SAN Systems Administration like storage provisioning, LUN allocation and reclaim, SAN Zoning using Cisco DCNM.
  
  
  • Good knowledge of IG,PG, SG
  
  
  • Should have good knowledge on symcli ( For VMAX/PowerMax)
  
  
  • Should have good knowledge of Unisphere (GUI)
  
  
  • Basic knowledge on DR and BCP tool like SRDF, snaps and clone
  
  
  • Expertise on SRDF sync, async and adaptive copy
  
  
  • Undestanding of solution enabler , ESRS, SAN Cabling best practices etc.
  
  
  • Basic knowledge on perfromance analysis and different parameters.
  
  
  • Understanding of CISCO MDS Switches and DCNM
  
  
  • Good Analytics skills , problem solving with day to day issues
  
  
  • Ensuring the tickets are attended and resolved as per the SLA.
  
  
  • Ensure the environment is healthy by doing daily health checks and preventive corrections.
  
  
  
  
  • 
    
    
    
    • Knowledge on storage monitoring tools
    
    
    • Knowledge on Backup tools such as TSM ,NetBackup , would be an added advantage.
    
    
    • knowledge of storage and backup for Linux, AIX, Solaris & Windows operating system
    
    
    • Good Knowledge on Shell / Perl or Python scripting
    
    
    
    
  
  
  • Collobrate with datacenter operations team ,Internal and external vendors.
  
  
  • Should be flexible to work on weekends & off hours during for supporting projects tasks.
  
  
  • Flexibility to work as Oncall during weekends and off-business hours.
  
  
  • Must have excellent Communication skills
  
  
  • Must have good ITIL Knowledge to manage SLA for the Incident , Changes , Problem changes
