Embedded/Robotics System Engineer

MIPL is growing its Robotics, AI & Defence Technology division and we’re looking for passionate engineers who can design, build, and program next-gen robots and drones for Public Security, Defence, Firefighting, Railways, Oil & Gas, and Industrial applications.

Location: Ahmedabad

What You Will Work On

• Designing electronics architecture for UGVs, robots, drones & special machines
• Programming microcontrollers (Arduino, STM32, ESP32, ARM, PIC)
• Sensor integration: LiDAR, GPS, IMU, UWB, thermal, vision sensors
• Building communication systems: LoRa, RF, 4G/5G, Zigbee, Wi-Fi, CAN, UART, SPI, I2C
• Power systems design: BMS, DC-DC, Li-ion packs, safety circuits
• Working with AI & CV teams for hardware–software integration
• PCB design, testing, debugging, field trials & validation
• Supporting manufacturing, wiring, assembly & onsite deployment

(Candidates with experience in building drones and robots are preferable with no more than 4 years experience.)

Required Skills

• Microcontroller programming (C/C++/Python)
• Understanding of electrical & electronics fundamentals
• Experience with embedded communication protocols
• PCB design (Altium/Eagle/KiCad)
• Robotics or drone project experience (college/professional/hobby)
• Ability to work with 3D teams, mechanical teams & AI teams

Bonus Skills

• Experience in UGVs/drones, CAN bus, ROS, Jetson platforms
• Knowledge of motor controllers, ESCs, brushless motors
• Exposure to defence/industrial robotics

• Competition experience (Robocon, Robofest, e-Yantra, UAV challenges)
