Mechanical Program Lead Engineer

Eligibility Criteria:

• Bachelors in mechanical engineering with minimum 12 Yrs Exp.

Primary Responsibilities:

Position will focus on realizing results through

• Own and drive projects (end-to-end – concept to field support) and release product sub-systems (power and electrical box) and working closely with engineering teams in India and the Product Group in US
• Projects originated as part of New Product Development (NPD), Continuous Improvement Program (CIP), Non-Standard Requests (NSR) and Cost Reduction
• Collaboration with cross functional teams to develop robust design solutions that ensure functionality, safety, manufacturability, serviceability, cost advantage, etc.
• Being accountable for delivering on time with quality as part of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and obtaining necessary approval from stakeholders by following Product Development and Release (PDR) process.

Mandatory skills and experience required to perform the job:

• Proficient in concept design and development of Power/Control panels/ Electromechanical assemblies by following PDR process using any CAD package
• Experience in Sheet metal, Enclosure design and manufacturing processes
• Provide key deliverables including Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), technical specifications, risk analysis, test specifications, and design review presentations.
• Experience in OEM Component selection (Mechanical and switch gear parts).
• Working experience in Structural and Thermal design validation through FEA and Theoretical calculations.
• Demonstrated strong Problem Solving and Decision-Making ability by applying structured process or tools such as 8Ds, Fishbone, 5 Whys, Pugh matrix, Pareto chart, etc.
