Job Description

Production Manager

Job Profile:

Production Planning & Execution
1. Develop and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production plans.
2. Ensure efficient utilization of resources including manpower, materials, and equipment.
3. Monitor production metrics (OEE, yield, downtime) and drive continuous improvement.
Team Management
1. Lead, train, and supervise production staff and shift leaders.
2. Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and high performance.
3. Ensure proper staffing and manage labor productivity.
Quality & Compliance
1. Maintain quality control standards in accordance with ISO 9001, IPC-A-610, or other applicable standards.
2. Collaborate with the QA/QC department to minimize defects and ensure compliance with specifications.
3. Ensure adherence to ESD, RoHS, and other regulatory requirements.
Process Improvement
1. Drive lean manufacturing initiatives (5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma).
2. Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to improve throughput.
3. Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Equipment & Maintenance
1. Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure timely repair and preventive maintenance of SMT lines, wave soldering, and other equipment.
2. Evaluate equipment performance and recommend upgrades or replacements as needed.
Inventory & Material Management
1. Collaborate with the supply chain team to manage inventory levels.
2. Ensure timely availability of components for production runs.
Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE)
1. Promote and enforce a safe working environment in compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
