Job Description

R&D Manager - Hardware

Job Profile:

Lead and manage the hardware design and development team within the R&D department.
Define hardware architecture and develop electronic circuit designs, including analog, digital, mixed-signal, and embedded systems.
Oversee prototype development, testing, and validation of hardware components.
Collaborate closely with software, firmware, mechanical, and systems teams to ensure seamless integration.
Drive innovation by researching emerging technologies and incorporating best practices in hardware design.
Establish and enforce hardware development processes, standards, and documentation.
Manage hardware-related project timelines, resources, and budgets.
Troubleshoot hardware issues and guide the team in resolving design challenges.
Liaise with suppliers, manufacturing, and quality teams to facilitate smooth transition from R&D to production.
Mentor and develop team members to build a high-performing hardware engineering group.
Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
