Embedded Firmware / Hardware IV&V Engineer (FPGA – VHDL)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Firmware / Hardware IV&V Engineer to join our team for safety and mission-critical aerospace projects. The role involves independent verification & validation (IV&V), documentation, and review report generation of Real-Time Hardware and Firmware developed using VHDL programming language.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Independent Verification & Validation (IV&V) of hardware and firmware systems.
• Review hardware verification and validation results/reports and generate compliance review reports.
• Analyze models and VHDL code for compliance with requirements and design standards.
• Conduct code analysis using tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, Vivado, etc.
• Ensure hardware design verification and prepare compliance documentation.
• Support testing of embedded hardware in aerospace applications.

Candidate Requirements

• Education: BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech in Electronics & Communication (EC), Electrical & Electronics (E&E), or Aerospace Embedded Systems.
• Experience: Minimum 4 years in Verification & Validation of safety-critical hardware.
• Strong knowledge of VHDL and Verilog programming languages.
• Hands-on experience with FPGA design and testing.
• Good experience in hardware design verification and compliance report generation.
• Prior experience in aerospace domain embedded systems is preferred.
