Job Description: As an Email Marketing Specialist at Guidepoint, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Digital Marketing function by creating and deploying strategic email campaigns. Your responsibilities will include planning, setting up, and launching targeted email sends using Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) to assist various business units. The ideal candidate for this role is a flexible team player with experience in developing email campaigns, a strong grasp of HTML and CSS, familiarity with marketing automation platforms, and expertise in managing email distribution lists. Key Responsibilities: - Plan, build, and deploy static and automated email campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) with personalized and dynamic content. - Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align email strategy and develop messaging. - Create and segment subscriber lists based on targeting criteria. - Optimize email campaigns based on key metrics such as CTR, open rates, and engagement. - Work with the design team to create custom email assets and layouts. - Conduct A/B testing to enhance email performance through optimized messaging and layout. - Provide troubleshooting and first-line support for stakeholders facing errors or technical issues with the SFMC platform. - Stay updated on industry trends and email best practices to uphold high standards regarding CAN SPAM and GDPR regulations. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree required (Marketing, Communications, English, Business major preferred). - 2+ years of experience in multi-channel B2B marketing, including building and managing email campaigns. - 1+ years working with HTML and CSS for email. - 1+ years of direct experience deploying emails in enterprise-level marketing automation platforms (SFMC, Pardot, HubSpot, Marketo, etc.). - Understanding of AMPScript, SQL, and Salesforce environment is a plus. - Broad understanding of digital marketing channels, especially in the B2B space. - Ability to quickly learn relevant systems and processes. - Strong analytical skills, technical knowledge, and attention to detail. - Proficiency in English with excellent proofreading abilities.
