Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Engineer with experience in fire detection and protection systems. The candidate will be responsible for the design, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of fire alarm systems, voice evacuation systems, and integration with building management systems (BMS) in compliance with national and international standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and layout of fire alarm and fire detection systems (e.g., smoke detectors, heat detectors, control panels).
  • Programming and configuring fire alarm control panels and networked fire systems.
  • Supervise the installation of fire detection and suppression systems, ensuring compliance with NFPA, NBC, and local civil defense regulations.
  • Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of electronic fire protection systems.
  • Integrate fire alarm systems with BMS / HVAC / Access control / Sprinkler systems.
  • Review project specifications, drawings, and technical submittals.
  • Prepare technical documentation, reports, and compliance certificates.
  • Conduct periodic preventive maintenance and provide technical support to service teams.
  • Stay updated with latest technologies and codes related to fire safety and electronics.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in fire detection/alarm systems (Siemens, Honeywell, Notifier, etc.).
  • Familiarity with NFPA, UL, FM, and civil defense regulations.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, PLC/SCADA (preferred), and fire design software tools.
  • Good analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and coordinate with clients, contractors, and civil defense authorities.

Preferred Certifications (Optional):

  • NICET / NFPA Certification
  • Manufacturer training certificates (e.g., Honeywell, Siemens, Edwards)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
