Electrical/Mechanical Technician

As a Maintenance Technician at Saar Global Marine Solutions Private Limited, your role will involve attending on-site repair and maintenance jobs at various customer locations. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining both mechanical and electrical systems to ensure prompt service delivery and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: - Attend customer sites for installation, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment. - Perform routine maintenance on mechanical systems such as motors, pumps, and compressors, as well as electrical components like panels, wiring, and switches. - Identify faults and recommend solutions on-site. - Maintain service records and prepare job completion reports. - Communicate with clients and report progress to the office. - Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures. - Travel to different job locations as per work schedule. Qualifications Required: - ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics. - Minimum of 6 months of experience in maintenance or field service role. - Strong knowledge of tools, electrical circuits, and mechanical systems. - Ability to work independently and handle repair jobs on-site. - Basic understanding of safety protocols (PPE, LOTO, electrical safety). - Valid driving license preferred. In addition to the above, you should have a basic understanding of mechanical systems like HVAC, pumps, and motors, as well as electrical systems including wiring, circuits, and panels. Familiarity with power tools, safety protocols, and preventive maintenance is desirable. Hands-on internship or industrial training is preferred.
