Electrical Maintenance Executive | Chemical Plant | Medchal Hyderabad

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:

• Assist in planning and execution of electrical engineering projects (new installations, upgrades, expansions, etc.).
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, contractors, and vendors to meet project goals and deadlines.
• Review electrical drawings and technical specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, and timelines.
• Prepare reports and documentation related to project status and completion.

Maintenance Activities:

• Perform routine preventive and predictive maintenance of electrical & Instruments systems, equipment, and machinery (e.g., motors, panels, PLCs, transformers, circuit breakers, etc.)
• Diagnose electrical faults and carry out timely repairs during breakdowns
• Monitor electrical parameters and troubleshoot power issues to avoid production interruptions

Equipment & System Management:

• Maintain and calibrate control systems including PLCs, VFDs, sensors, and HMIs
• Inspect and maintain electrical panels, distribution boards, MCCs, and lighting systems
• Ensure proper functioning of emergency and backup power systems (generators, UPS)

Safety & Compliance:

• Adhere to electrical safety standards and company SOPs during all maintenance activities
• Ensure compliance with local electrical regulations and audit requirements
• Conduct risk assessments and safety audits for electrical systems

Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, logs, and spare parts usage
• Assist in energy audits and propose energy-saving measures

Team & Coordination:

• Coordinate with production, utility, and other engineering teams for maintenance planning
• Supervise electricians and external contractors as required

Continuous Improvement:

• Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues
• Support initiatives like 5S to improve reliability and uptime

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical HT/LT systems and components
• Expertise in troubleshooting motors, drives, control panels, and automation systems
• Familiarity with PLCs, SCADA, and industrial automation
• Knowledge of electrical safety standards
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings and circuit diagrams
• Good communication and team coordination skills

Educational Qualifications:

• Diploma / Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

Experience:

• 2-5years of experience in electrical maintenance in a manufacturing or process industry
• Preferred Certifications (Optional): PWD Licensed Certification
