Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer

As an Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer in the Design & Engineering field, you will be responsible for reviewing contract documents, preparing the complete scope of work with battery limits for electrical & instrumentation points, and attending internal kick-off meetings with the Sales/Proposal Department as well as external kick-off meetings with clients/consultants. Your role will involve the preparation of E&I datasheets, bill of materials for various types of panels, IO lists, and electrical load lists based on tender requirements. You will be involved in the selection of power, instrument, and control cables as per project requirements, coordination with vendors, vendor drawing reviews, and internal coordination with various functions to ensure the smooth execution of projects. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing cable schedules, cable tray layouts, earthing layouts, lighting layouts, and wiring diagrams for various types of panels. Your duties will also include developing and maintaining a library for the electrical & instrumentation portion for easy accessibility, preparing inquiries for all electrical & instrumentation items, and finalizing orders for PLC panels/SCADA, MCC panels, instruments, cables, cable trays, and other electrical items. The ideal candidate for this position should hold a B.Tech/B.E. degree in Instrumentation and possess strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi. You should be proficient in follow-up and communication, willing to travel for technical meetings with clients/consultants across India, have a positive attitude towards work, and demonstrate ownership in task completion.
