Electrical Estimator (quantity take-offs, and cost analyses)

• Work Timings: 4:00 AM – 1:00 PM IST (Aligned with Australian Time Zone)

• Above 2 years of Experience

• Excellent English communication skills (oral and written).

• Should be in a position to talk to Australian clients.

Electrical Estimator

• Review project drawings, tender documents, and specifications to prepare detailed and accurate electrical estimates.
• Perform quantity take-offs for electrical components such as light fittings, switches, sockets, distribution boards (DBs), conduits, cables, trays, and trunking.
• Use estimation software such as

  Ground Plan, Plan Swift, and Bluebeam

  to ensure precise take-offs and measurements.
• Prepare cost analyses and collaborate with vendors/suppliers for pricing based on provided lists.
• Develop tailored estimation solutions to meet specific client and project requirements.
• Compile and submit comprehensive tender documentation, including BOQs, cost breakdowns, and supporting analyses.
• Ensure compliance with

  Australian standards

  while meeting project deadlines.
• Liaise effectively with Australian clients, project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to validate and refine estimates.

• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum

  2+ years of experience

  as an Electrical Estimator in construction, contracting, or consulting.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installations, and materials.
• Proficiency in

  PlanSwift, Bluebeam, Ground Plan

  or similar estimation/take-off software.
• Excellent English communication skills (oral and written) with the ability to interact directly with Australian clients.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Team player with the ability to work independently when required.
