Job Description

As an Electrical Estimation professional, your role will involve a variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to: - Reviewing tender documents, preparing technical queries, and submitting them to clients and consultants. - Supervising and training estimators to assist in the preparation of estimates and bids. - Maintaining the estimating cost database to ensure up-to-date costs. - Attending pre-tender and commercial negotiation meetings with clients. - Sending inquiries to vendors and following up on pricing. - Consulting with clients, architects, subcontractors, and material suppliers to formulate estimates and resolve issues. - Preparing commercial and technical offers, as well as price comparison reports. - Working with the operations team during the preconstruction process to review plans and specifications for constructability issues. - Quantity measurement, preparing cable schedules, and earthing schedules in lump-sum projects. - Completing PQ forms and preparing necessary documents. - Developing project schedules, manpower and material delivery schedules, and PowerPoint presentations. - Coordinating with the estimation team and assigning them to new projects. - Supporting the procurement team post-project award. - Resolving queries from the site team post-project award. - Undertaking any tasks assigned by the Managing Director. Qualification & Preferred Skills: - BE/Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 7+ years of experience in construction management or a related field. - Exceptional time management, multitasking, and interpersonal skills. - Strong teamwork and leadership abilities. - Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. - Familiarity with Google Workspace is preferred. - Excellent organizational and documentation skills. - Ability to travel extensively and conduct site visits.
