Internship Opportunity: Electronics & Embedded Engineering Internship Location: Onsite at IIT Hyderabad Stipend: 10-15k per month performance based Time: 3-6 months At D Eye Company, we are developing AI-powered wearable technology that empowers blind and visually impaired individuals to navigate the world with greater independence and confidence. This internship goes beyond routine tasks. It's a hands-on opportunity to contribute directly to a meaningful product aimed at solving real-world accessibility challenges. What Youâll Do Contribute to the prototype development of our Smart Assistive Jacket Design and test embedded systems, circuits, and sensor integrations Interface sensors (ultrasonic, GPS, IMU, camera modules) with microcontrollers (ESP32, Arduino, or similar) Develop hardware logic for haptic feedback, audio output, and AI camera integration Participate in rapid prototyping, PCB design, soldering, and debugging Collaborate with designers, AI developers, and the founder to shape the user experience What Weâre Looking For Background in Electronics, Embedded Systems Engineering Experience with microcontrollers (ESP32, STM32, Arduino, Raspberry Pi) Hands-on skills in circuit prototyping, sensor integration, PCB design, and embedded programming (C/C++) Familiarity with Bluetooth, wearable tech, or assistive technology is a plus Passion for accessibility, inclusion, and impactful product design What Youâll Gain Experience in developing a real-world product from the ground up The chance to be part of a mission-driven startup focused on accessibility innovation Creative ownership, technical mentorship, and cross-disciplinary collaboration A strong portfolio project with real social impact If you're excited about working at the intersection of hardware, AI, and accessibilityâand want to help build technology that makes a differenceâget in touch.
