Role & responsibilities

Electrical Engineer Stacker Reclaimer Erection & Commissioning

Job Responsibilities:

Study and interpret electrical drawings, cable schedules, routing layouts, and interconnection diagrams.
Supervise routing, laying, dressing, tagging, and termination of HT/LT power, control, and instrumentation cables.
Ensure correct cable specifications, segregation, and mechanical protection as per design and standards.
Oversee installation and commissioning of electrical systems: motors, drives, panels, switchgear, earthing, and lighting.
Conduct and verify cable tests: continuity, insulation resistance, megger tests.
Perform pre-commissioning checks and functional testing of control panels, protection devices.
Plan and execute cold and hot commissioning, including system integration, trial runs, and performance testing.
Coordinate with mechanical/civil teams and liaise with vendors for smooth execution.
Report daily progress and ensure timely resolution of issues and punch points.
