Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor all electrical systems and equipment during assigned shifts in the power plant.
• Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of power plant electrical equipment.
• Ensure effective functioning of systems including generators, transformers, circuit breakers, relays, and power distribution units.
• Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis for electrical issues to ensure quick resolution and minimum downtime.
• Maintain logbooks and records for all shift activities and equipment status.
• Coordinate with the operations and maintenance teams to ensure smooth handover during shift changeovers.
• Ensure all safety protocols and compliance measures are strictly followed.

Technical Skills & Competencies Required:

• Strong understanding of

  power generation

  ,

  transmission

  , and

  distribution systems

  .
• Extensive hands-on experience in

  33KV systems maintenance

   and operations.
• Working knowledge of

  synchronization with grid systems (33KV)

  .
• Proficiency in handling

  AVR (Automatic Voltage Regulators)

  ,

  generators

  ,

  HT panels

  , and

  transformers

  .
• Ability to read and interpret electrical single-line diagrams, control circuit diagrams, and manuals.
• Troubleshooting of electrical faults in real-time and implementing corrective actions efficiently.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Should have practical, on-ground experience in

  power plant operations

  , preferably in industrial or captive power plants.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions independently under pressure.
• Willing to work in a rotating shift schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other teams.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
