Electrical Engineer

An Electrical Engineer in a township setting is typically responsible for designing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems within the town's infrastructure, buildings, and utilities. You will be involved in various aspects of electrical engineering, including design and implementation, maintenance and troubleshooting, testing and inspections, compliance with safety regulations, project management, documentation, communication with stakeholders, providing technical leadership, and cost estimation. Your specific tasks will include managing power generation, transmission, and distribution, designing electrical systems for buildings, working with renewable energy sources, developing electrical design plans and schematics, performing load calculations, integrating electrical systems into multi-disciplinary designs, supervising technicians and craftspeople, testing installations and systems, liaising with clients and stakeholders, and managing maintenance programs.
