Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems, panels, switchgear, motors, transformers, and HT/LT equipment.
• Supervise electrical maintenance during shifts and ensure minimum downtime.
• Troubleshoot faults in electrical circuits and perform corrective actions immediately.
• Maintain logbooks, shift reports, and permit-to-work systems.
• Monitor and manage power distribution and ensure load balancing.
• Coordinate with control room and mechanical/instrumentation teams during plant disturbances.
• Ensure strict adherence to electrical safety standards, LOTO, and statutory compliance.
• Assist in preventive maintenance planning and support audits and inspections.
  

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of HT/LT systems, MCC, DG sets, PLC, VFDs, and protection relays.
• Hands-on experience with electrical equipment in thermal power plants or industrial facilities.
• Sound understanding of electrical safety practices and emergency response.
• Working knowledge of maintenance software / CMMS is a plus.
• Ability to manage shift teams and resolve issues independently.
  

Qualification

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
