Job Title: Electrical Engineer – Telecom Industry Experience Level: [senior-Level] Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our Telecom team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, reviewing, and supporting preparation of the electrical systems of telecom infrastructure, including cell towers, small cells, base stations, and EV charging integration. The role involves electrical load calculation using power calculator & Telecommunication electrical design and schematic diagram preparation for both AC & DC circuits of telecommunication infrastructure systems. Key Responsibilities: Design and review electrical layouts for telecom towers, shelters, and associated infrastructure. Prepare electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, load calculations, and panel schedules for new and existing sites. Ensure compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code), local regulations, and client-specific standards. Support the integration of backup power systems (generators, UPS, batteries, solar) into telecom networks. Collaborate with design team managers, engineers, and vendors to meet project goals and timelines. Document project work and ensure all electrical deliverables are submitted as per project timelines. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent. [ 2 – 5 ]+ years of experience in electrical design or engineering, preferably in the telecom industry. Familiarity with telecom standards (e.g., Cellnex, Arqiva, AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon) is an advantage. Proficiency in AutoCAD, excel sheets or electrical design software. Working knowledge of grounding, bonding, lightning protection, and power distribution. Understanding of load calculations, single-line diagrams, and panel board designs. Experience with EV charging stations is a plus. Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills. Ability to travel to site locations if required.
