Electrical distribution systems

Key ResponsibilitiesDC Power Systems

• Operate and maintain DC systems (110 V / 220 V DC)
• Maintenance of battery banks (Lead-acid / VRLA / Ni-Cd)
• Battery testing: voltage, specific gravity, impedance, capacity tests
• Charger maintenance and DC distribution panels
• Ensure DC system availability for protection, control, and tripping circuits

UPS Systems

• Operation and maintenance of online/offline UPS systems
• Battery maintenance and replacement
• UPS health monitoring, alarms, and event analysis
• Load management and redundancy (N+1 configurations)
• Coordination with vendors for AMC and breakdown support

Compressor Systems

• Operation and maintenance of air compressors (screw / reciprocating)
• Maintenance of dryers, receivers, filters, and pipelines
• Monitoring pressure, temperature, oil levels, and leak detection
• Preventive maintenance and breakdown rectification
• Energy efficiency and compressed air loss reduction

Maintenance Activities

• Preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance
• Root cause analysis of failures
• Maintain maintenance schedules and checklists
• Spare parts planning and inventory control
• Compliance with safety procedures and lockout–tagout (LOTO)

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to electrical and mechanical safety standards
• Perform safety inspections and risk assessments
• Maintain documentation as per ISO / OHS requirements

Qualifications

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical / Mechanical / E&I Engineering
• ITI with relevant experience may also be considered

Skills & Knowledge

• DC systems & battery maintenance
• UPS operation and troubleshooting
• Compressor operation and utilities
• Electrical schematics and manuals
• Basic PLC / SCADA knowledge (preferred)
• MS Office / CMMS tools

Experience

• 2–8 years in industrial maintenance / data center / substation environment
• Experience with critical power and utility systems preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
