Job Overview Our client is hiring an experienced Senior Electrical Designer with expertise in SP3D for major onshore and offshore oil & gas projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for detailed electrical modeling, clash-free layout design, and cross-functional coordination. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage SP3D-based 3D electrical models including layouts, cable trays, lighting, grounding, and instrument connections. Ensure coordinated and clash-free designs with civil, mechanical, and instrumentation teams. Prepare and review electrical drawings such as lighting layouts, grounding plans, cable tray routes, and material take-offs. Translate engineering inputs, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and specifications into accurate models. Conduct model reviews, clash detection, and maintain consistency in project documentation. Support site teams during construction with redlines, markups, and as-built documentation. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Electrical Engineering or related field. 11–15 years of electrical design experience in Oil & Gas projects (onshore and/or offshore). Minimum 7+ years of hands-on experience with SP3D. Familiarity with AutoCAD, SmartSketch, or MicroStation is a plus. Sound understanding of electrical design codes (IEC, NEC, API). Knowledge of hazardous area classifications and Ex equipment layout. Strong team coordination and attention to detail. Show more Show less
