Electrical Designer

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with electrical engineers and project teams to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Program and integrate

  PLC

  HMI

  SCADA

  systems into the design process.
• Create detailed electrical drawings, layouts, and schematics using CAD software such as

  AutoCAD

• Ensure all drawings and documentation comply with industry codes, standards, and regulations.
• Review and revise existing drawings based on engineering feedback and project updates.
• Maintain accurate records of electrical designs and changes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with draftsmen, engineers, and project managers to ensure smooth project execution.
• Assist in preparing material lists and cost estimates for electrical components.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in electrical drafting.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background:

  Associate's degree, ITI certification, or technical diploma in Electrical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.

• Experience:

  Minimum of 2 years as an Electrical Draftsman, Electrical Engineer, or in a similar role, preferably within the construction or engineering industry.

• Technical Skills:

  Proficiency in programming

  PLC

  SCADA

  systems.
• Expertise in CAD software such as

• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, codes, and standards.
