Design and Costing Estimation Engineer (Projects – Electrical & Automation) Experience: Minimum 5 Years Location: Ahmedabad Department: Design, Engineering & Estimation Responsibilities:· Study project specifications, SLDs, and tender documents to prepare design and costing. · Design LV panels (PCC, MCC, APFC, VFD, PLC, RTU, etc.) as per project requirements. · Prepare BOQ, material selection, GA & schematic drawings. · Obtain and evaluate vendor offers for switchgear, relays, instruments, etc. · Prepare detailed cost estimation and submit to sales/project team. · Support project execution teams with technical clarifications. · Maintain updated cost databases and standard design templates. · Ensure all designs comply with applicable standards (IEC/IS). Required Skills & Knowledge:· Excellent knowledge of electrical panel design, protection schemes, and load calculations. · Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN (preferred), and MS Excel. · Familiar with switchgear from Siemens, Schneider, ABB, and L&T. · Understanding of costing, BOQ preparation, and material evaluation. · Strong analytical, detail-oriented, and problem-solving skills.
