Electrical Design Engineer

Domain Expertise

• 4+ years of experience in the aerospace domain (preferred).

• Strong knowledge of aerospace design processes, standards, and applications.

• Thorough understanding of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Testing (DFT) principles.

Electrical Design & Development

• Proven experience in Electrical Wiring Design & Development Lifecycle.

• Expertise in Electrical System Architecture Design, Wiring Design, Functional Schematics, Harness Design, and Form Board Design.

• Proficient in electrical CAD tools, such as Zuken E3, Capital Harness, AutoCAD, etc.

• Experience through complete development cycles with sound knowledge of wiring and harness component selection.

• Hands-on experience in the preparation of Manufacturing BOMs (Bill of Materials).

• Familiarity with Electrical Wiring and Harness Drafting Standards.

Electrical Analysis & Systems

• Proficiency in Electrical Load and Power Source Capacity Analysis (AC analysis, DC analysis, Battery analysis) for aircraft systems.

• Strong foundation in Electrical Circuit Theory, Electrical Power Systems, Electrical Technology, and Analog/Digital Electronics.

• Experience implementing EMI/EMC methods for electrical wiring design.

• Exposure to 3D Harness Design (added advantage).

• Experience in Electrical Panel Wiring Design and Functional Check Procedure Development.

• Preparation of Electrical Wiring Continuity and Functional Schedules.

Testing & Integration

• Experience in Integration and Testing of Wiring/Harness on aircraft (preferred).

Standards & Compliance

• Working knowledge of aerospace standards, including:

  • MIL-704D, MIL-W-5088L / SAE AS50881, MIL-E-7016,

  • MIL-STD-464, MIL-STD-461, MIL-B-5087, and DO-160.

• Understanding of Configuration Management, Requirements Traceability, and related quality processes.

Communication Skills

• Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Fluent in English
