About the Role

Electrical Design Engineer (MEP)

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems for

  MEP projects

  , including:
• LV & MV power distribution
• Lighting and lighting control
• Earthing and lightning protection
• ELV/low-voltage systems (CCTV, Fire Alarm, Access Control, BMS)
• Prepare

  SLDs, load schedules, cable sizing, panel schedules, BOQs, and specifications

  .
• Lead design documentation, tender preparation, and value engineering.
• Coordinate with

  mechanical and plumbing engineers

  for integrated MEP solutions.
• Ensure compliance with

  IS, IEC, NEC, IEEE, and relevant codes/standards

  .
• Use software such as

  AutoCAD, Revit MEP, ETAP, Dialux

  for design and modeling.
• Provide

  technical support

  to project execution teams and review shop drawings.
• Collaborate with

  clients, consultants, and contractors

  for design approvals and smooth project execution.

Requirements

• B.E/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering

  .

• 5–8 years of experience

  in

  electrical design for MEP building services

  (commercial, residential, healthcare, or industrial projects).
• Strong knowledge of

  electrical codes, standards, and energy-efficient solutions

  .
• Proficiency in

  AutoCAD, Revit MEP (preferred), ETAP, Dialux

  .
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead tasks independently and guide junior engineers.
